Notice of Approval of Alternative Types of Seat Belts for Certain Motor Vehicles

NOTICE

PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves for the purposes of regulation 78 (1) (as inserted by regulation 3 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 2), the fitting in the seating positions specified in the Schedule hereto of the alternative types of seat belts specified in the said Schedule to the vehicles specified in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

In respect of Fiat 128 vehicles (with vehicle assembly numbers from FA289 to FA336 inclusive), with single sensitive locking retractor, 3-point lap and diagonal seat belts, of an approved type for the use of the driver and the front seat passenger nearest the left side of the vehicle (or the right side of the vehicle in respect of a left-hand drive vehicle).

Fire Districts Boundaries (North Shore) Notice 1980

PURSUANT to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Fire Districts Boundaries (North Shore) Notice 1980.
   (2) This notice shall come into effect on the 1st day of March 1980.

2. Fire District boundaries—The boundaries of the following Fire Districts have been altered and shall henceforth be as defined in the Schedules hereto:
   (a) the North Shore Fire District being all that area described in the First Schedule hereto;
   (b) the Helensville Fire District being all that area described in the Second Schedule hereto;
   (c) the Warkworth Fire District being all that area described in the Third Schedule hereto;
   (d) the Leigh Fire District being all that area described in the Fourth Schedule hereto;
   (e) the Wellsford Fire District being all that area described in the Fifth Schedule hereto; and
   (f) the Silverdale Fire District being all that area described in the Sixth Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH SHORE FIRE DISTRICT
