Reappointment of Maori Wardens Under the Maori Welfare Act 1962
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 7 of the Maori Welfare Act 1962 as substituted by section 14 (3) of the Maori Purposes Act 1975, that the persons named in the Schedule hereto have been reappointed as Maori wardens for a term of 3 years, for the area of the Maori association shown opposite the name of each such person in the second column of the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of Appointments of Honorary Officer
PURSUANT to section 7 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Robin Paul Taylor, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby revoke the appointments of
Oswald Alfred Leask
as honorary launch warder* for the purposes of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 and as honorary harbourmaster† for Whangamata Harbour.

Appointment of Examiner Under the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952
PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Transport under the Ministry of Transport Act 1968:
(1) Arjun Kumar Mullick and Robert Hamilton Williams are hereby appointed to be examiners of applicants in the sight tests and examiners for the purposes of granting:
(a) Certificates of competency as A.B.; and
(b) Certificates of competency as qualified fishing deck-hand,
in terms of sections 21, 50, and 50A of the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952, with effect from the date hereof.
(2) The appointment of examiner under the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952 notice dated 19th November 1979* is hereby revoked.

Appointment of Fisheries Registration Offices and Their Areas of Operation (No. 2294 Ag. 9/1/4)
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Commercial Fishing Regulations 1963, notice is given that the Director-General hereby specifies that as from and including the 31st day of December 1979 the following ports and places shall be the ports and places for the registration of fishing boats within the prescribed areas.
Auckland: Customs Building, Customs Street West, Auckland—From South Head, Kaipara Harbour through Wellsford to South Bank Mangawhai as the northern boundary, and from Otehe Point Matira through Huntly and Orini north to Waitakaruru as the southern boundary.
Blenheim: NMA Building, 22 Alfred Street, Blenheim—From Alligator Head to North Bank Clarence River (including Havelock).
Chatham Islands: Waitangi, Chatham Islands—The Chatham Islands in their entirety.
Christchurch: Demeter House, 131 Victoria Street, Christchurch—From South Bank Clarence River to Rangitata River.
Dunedin: Cargill House, 123 Princes Street, Dunedin—From Waitaki River to Nuggets Point.
Gisborne: Dalgety Building, Gladstone Road, Gisborne—From East Cape to (and including) Kopuawhara.
