Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Waikato Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee, on 5 October 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Coroglen Tavern, Coroglen.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday and Saturday from and including the Friday prior to each Labour Weekend and for a period of six months thereafter—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On every Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
Subject to adequate food provided up to closing time.

Designation of Kapiti Coast Community Arts Council
PURSUANT to section 32 (i) of the Queen Elizabeth Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, on the recommendation of the Central Regional Arts Council and on the application of the Kapiti Coast Community Arts Council, the Queen Elizabeth Second Arts Council of New Zealand hereby designates the Kapiti Coast Community Arts Council to be the Community Arts Council for the following duly defined area:
All of the borough of Kapiti and that part of the Horowhenua County south of the Otaki River.

Designation of Horowhenua Community Arts Council
PURSUANT to section 32 (i) of the Queen Elizabeth Second Arts Council of New Zealand Act 1974, on the recommendation of the Central Regional Arts Council and on the application of the Horowhenua Community Arts Council, the Queen Elizabeth Second Arts Council of New Zealand hereby designates the Horowhenua Community Arts Council to be the Community Arts Council for the following duly defined area:
All that part of the Horowhenua County north of the Otaki River.
This notice revokes the previous notice headed “Designation of Horowhenua Community Arts Council” which appeared in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 68, of 3 August 1978, on page 2184.

Confiscation of Motor Vehicle (Criminal Justice Amendment Act (No. 2) 1976)
PURSUANT to the Criminal Justice Act 1954, section 44B, motor vehicle registration No. CF 3920, 1963 P.A. Vauxhall Velox motorcar, engine No. PBX 133046, chassis No. PBSX 3033829, owned by Mr Nigel Stephen Hasler, 36 Coventry Street, Palmerston North, was confiscated by Mr H. Gilbert, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Palmerston North, on the 28th day of September 1979, in accordance with the above Act.

PURSUANT to section 195 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973, it is hereby notified that the registration of the Wanganui Retail Booksellers’ and Newsagents’ Industrial Union of Employers, Registered No. 1579, situated at 86A Guyton Street, Wanganui, is hereby cancelled as from the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Revision of Orepuki Fire District Notice 1979
PURSUANT to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- Title and commencement:
(1) This notice may be cited as the Orepuki Fire District Notice 1979.
(2) This notice shall come into effect on the 1st day of December 1979.

The Orepuki Fire District, declared to be a fire district by the Fire Service Act 1975, is hereby abolished, and a fire district to be known as the Orepuki Fire District is hereby constituted.

The boundaries of the Orepuki Fire District constituted by this notice are defined in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
