The following personnel have resigned their cadet commissions with effect from the dates shown:

Flying Officer Charles Peter Monod, 18 September 1979.

Retirement

Squadron Leader William John Wells relinquishes his appointment as Unit Commander No. 43 (Waikī) ATC Squadron and retires, with effect 21 August 1979.

Amendment to Gazette Notice

Ref. extract from New Zealand Gazette, Thursday, 29 May 1979, No. 25, page 975. The following Gazette notice “Temporary Squadron Leader Graham Andrew Church, Squadron Leader, 23 October 1978”, is amended to read “Temporary Squadron Leader Graham Andrew Church, Squadron Leader, 23 October 1973”.

Reappointment of a Member of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Council (No. 2244, Ag. 21257)

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, I hereby reappoint:

Robert Walter Preston Cameron, farmer, Kurow (on the nomination of the South Island Pest Destruction Board’s Association),

to be a member of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Council for a further term of 3 years, from 1 April 1979.

PURSUANT to section 15e of the Shipping and Seamen Act 1952, I, Colin Campbell Alexander McLachlan, Minister of Transport, cancel the appointment of Jack Raymond Poppleton Horn, and after consultation with the Minister of Justice, hereby appoint

Gordon Bruce Fea,

Stipendiary Magistrate, to be the Maritime Appeal Authority for a term of 3 years from the date hereof.

Appointing Member of the Engineering Associates Registration Board and His Deputy

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Engineering Associates Act 1961, the Minister of Works and Development hereby appoints:

John Frederick Ericson, a garage supervisor, as a member of the Board; and

Walter Graeme Dyer as Mr Ericson’s deputy;

on the nomination of the Society of Automotive Engineers Australasia (Inc.).

The appointments are for a term of two years from the date of appointment.
