Industries Development Commission Notice No. 1979/13β
Inquiry into the New Zealand Wine Industry
(1) The Commission gave notice in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 84, of 13 September 1979, that a public hearing on the wine industry would be held on Tuesday, 6 November 1979. This hearing will now take place on Tuesday, 13 November 1979. The commencement time for the hearing remains 10.30 a.m. for the first day and 10 a.m. for each subsequent day.
(2) The closing date for submissions for the public hearing on the wine industry has now been extended to Friday, 19 October 1979.

PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Local Government hereby publishes the following Special Order made by Waimate County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER
A special order made by the Waimate County Council at a meeting of the Council held on the 31st day of August 1976 and after being publicly notified confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Council held on the 26th day of October 1976 namely:
That in exercise of its powers under section 23 of the Counties Act 1956 the Waimate County Council resolves by way of special order to exclude the area described in the Schedule hereto from the North Waihao Riding and include the said area in the Hakataramea Riding.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station F in Block II, Nimrod Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along a right line aligned on Mount Nimrod, to the middle of the Waihao River; thence southerly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 27281; thence southerly to and along that boundary and its production across a road to the northernmost corner of Lot 3, D.P. 27281; thence south-westerly generally along the general south-eastern boundaries of Run 311, Kinbrace, across the road abutment to the easternmost corner of Run 234A, Mount Aitken; thence southerly generally along the general eastern boundary of the last-mentioned Run and its production to the middle of the Waihao River; thence southerly generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the production of the north-western boundary of Rural Section 29441; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary to the south-westernmost corner of that Rural Section; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of Rural Section 234B, Waikora, and its production to the middle of Meyers Pass Road; thence westerly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the production of the north-western boundary of Run 283; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and its production across the road to and south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 33901 to the southernmost corner of that Rural Section; thence south-westerly along the middle of the road forming the southernmost boundary of part Rural Section 31736; thence south-westerly along the middle line of that road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Run 283; thence to and south-westerly along that boundary to and south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 16, D.P. 2097, to the southernmost corner of that lot; thence north-westerly, south-westerly, south-easterly and easterly generally along the north-eastern, north-western, south-western and general southern boundaries of Run 321 to the easternmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 3450; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of that lot and its production to the middle of the road forming the general south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 3450; thence south-westerly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 3450; thence south-westerly generally along the general north-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 3451, to the northern boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 3452; thence south-easterly generally along the general north-eastern boundary of that lot to its easternmost corner; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundaries of part Lot 4, D.P. 3452, and its production across No. 82 S.H. (Deep Creep-Kurow) to the easternmost corner of Rural Section 39279; thence north-westerly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of that Rural Section and its production to the middle of the Waitaki River; thence north-westerly generally along the middle of that river to and north-easterly generally along the middle of the Hakataramea River, to a point due east of the north-westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 22750, Block XVI, Mackenzie Survey District; thence due east along a right line to the summit of the Hunters Hills; thence south-easterly generally along that summit to the point of commencement.
