PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and declares that the closed road shall be dealt with as Crown land under the Land Act 1948.

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by the Trustees Wellington District Methodist Permanent Camp Site under the provisions of the Methodist Model Deed 1887, under and by virtue of renewable Crown lease No. S. 35 recorded in leasehold certificate of title, Volume 735, folio 57, Wellington Land Registry, is hereby taken for the purposes of a road, from and after the 4th day of October 1979.
