No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from Frances Street to a point 200 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said State highway from Purcell Street; and from Victoria Street to a point 400 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Victoria Street.

The Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1979
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
-
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The notice dated the 12th day of July 1966†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Franklin County at Patumahoe, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Franklin County at Patumahoe:
John Street.
Mareretu Avenue.
Mauku Road: from Kingseat Road to Woodhouse Road.
Patumahoe Road: from Woodhouse Road to a point 230 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Patumahoe Road from Mareretu Avenue.
Woodhouse Road: from Patumahoe Road to a point 420 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Woodhouse Road from Patumahoe Road.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Franklin County at Patumahoe:
Kingseat Road: from Mauku Road to a point 650 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from Mauku Road.
Mauku Road: from Kingseat Road to a point 480 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Mauku Road from Kingseat Road.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
So much of the notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 5th day of September 1975†, which relates to roads situated within Tauranga County at Papamoa, is hereby revoked.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Taupo Borough) Notice No. 1, 1969, dated the 16th day of July 1969†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Taupo Borough, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Taupo Borough) Notice No. 1, 1976, dated the 7th day of May 1976†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Taupo Borough at Nukuhau, is hereby revoked.
