Amending a Notice Setting Apart Stopped Government Road for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Buller County

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the Notice dated the 23rd day of January 1979 published in New Zealand Gazette, 15 February 1979, No. 10, at p. 302, setting apart stopped Government road for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road in Buller County, pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, by omitting the Schedule and substituting the following Schedule.

ALL that piece of stopped Government road containing 83 square metres, situated in Block II, Kongahu Survey District, adjoining Lot 2, D.P. 8013; as shown on plan S.O. 11692, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Nelson, and thereon coloured green.

Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed and Vested in Block II, Oreti Hundred, Southland County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto which land shall vest in the Southland County Council and also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Terence Gerald O’Meara, of Otahuti, farmer, subject to mortgage No. 021766.5.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby:

(a) Declares the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government road; and

(b) Stops the said road.
