ORDER

1. Title and commencement—This order may be cited as the Southland Region Constitution Order 1979, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Southland Region Constitution Order 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

2. First meeting of council—The principal order is hereby amended by revoking subclause (1) of clause 7 and substituting the following subclause:

“(1) The first meeting of the council shall be held not later than the 31st day of August 1979.”
