Land Taken for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All those pieces of land described as follows:

Arca

158 Part Allotments 8 and 9 of Section 54 of the City of Auckland; marked “A” on plan.

143 Part Allotments 8 and 9 of Section 54 of the City of Auckland; marked “B” on plan.

As shown on plan S.O. 50724, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon marked as above-mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of July 1979.

Amending a Proclamation Proclaiming Land Held for Housing Purposes Set Apart for Industrial Purposes in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation dated the 25th day of August 1978, published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 100, 16 November 1978, at p. 3126, proclaiming land held for housing purposes set apart for industrial purposes in the City of Christchurch, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, by omitting the Schedule and substituting the following Schedule:

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

All those pieces of land situated in the City of Christchurch, containing 22.5210 hectares, being Lots 1 to 5 inclusive, and Lots 7 to 9 inclusive, D.P. 18062, Lots 209 to 219 inclusive, and Lots 224, 225, and part Lot 223, D.P. 807, and part Rural Section 16298. All certificates of title, 15B/43, 15A/1056 to 15A/1070 inclusive, 125/290, 155/150, 183/101, and 540/227.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of July 1979.

Revoking a Proclamation Declaring an Area in the Stratford Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge (Block VI, Ngaere Survey District, Taranaki Land District, Stratford County)

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke that part of the Proclamation issued on the 7th day of December 1967, New Zealand Gazette, No. 36, 1 June 1961, p. 779, declaring an area of land in the Stratford Survey District, and in the Stratford Acclimatisation District, described in the Schedule hereto, to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT—STRATFORD COUNTY

PARTS Section 24 and Lot 1, D.P. 2128, being part Section 23, Block VI, Ngaere Survey District. Area: 62 acres, 2 roods 18 perches, more or less.

As the same is shown on plan marked I.A. 34/18/2 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of July 1979.
