IN THE MATTER OF THE COMPANIES ACT 1955, AND IN THE MATTER OF GIANT INDUSTRIES LIMITED:
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 31st day of May 1979 confirming the reduction of capital of the above-named company from $600,000 to $4,100 and the minute approved by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 10th day of July 1979. The said minute is in the words and figures following:
The capital of Giant Industries Limited is $4,100 divided into 410,000 fully paid ordinary stock units of 1 cent each having been reduced from $600,000 divided into 410,000 ordinary stock units of $1 each fully paid and 190,000 unissued ordinary shares of $1 each.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for an order directing the other shareholders or either of them to buy the petitioner’s shares at such price as shall fairly represent the true current value as affected by the oppression complained of or that WAKEFIELD APARTMENTS LIMITED be wound up by the Court under the provisions of the Companies Act 1955, or for such other order as shall be just, was presented to the Supreme Court on the 29th day of June 1979 by JOHN WILLIAM FRANCIS, of Dunedin, builder; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before this Court sitting at Wellington on Wednesday, the 1st day of August 1979, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy upon payment of the regulated charge for the same.
