Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VIII, Uawa Survey District, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land having been occupied by road when State Highway 35 was realigned near the Mangapēka Stream in 1976; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tolaga Bay and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 444 square metres, being part Kourateuwhi 1B1B, situated in Block VIII, Uawa Survey District; as shown on plan S.O. 6721, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne, and thereon marked 'C'.

The land is situated on the east side of State Highway 35, about 2 kilometres north of Tolaga Bay near the Mangapēka Stream.
