Land Proclaimed as Road in the City of Lower Hutt

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Lower Hutt City Council.

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods and 9 perches (3263 square metres), situated in Block XIV, Belmont Survey District in the City of Lower Hutt, being part bcd Hutt River; as shown on plan S.O. 23707, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Road Closed and Vested in Block XIII, Pohangina Survey District, Oroua County

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, and declares that the road described in the said First Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Maurice Robert Thacker, of Colyton, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 719474, 719475, and 119852.1, and that the road described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Robert Francis Blake Williamson, of Palmerston North, farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 997136, 997137, and 096530.1.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XIII, East Cape Survey District, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to be used in the realignment of State Highway 35; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Te Araroa and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, should, if they have any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 roods and 31.6 perches (2822 square metres), being part Marangairoa 2E2B6 Block, situated in Block XIII, East Cape Survey District; as shown on plan S.O. 6332, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne, and thereon coloured orange.

The land is situated on the western side of State Highway 35 about 5 miles south of Te Araroa.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Taupo County Council, and also proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby closed, and shall, when so closed, vest in N.Z. Forest Products Limited, at Auckland subject to memoranda of mortgage S. 363599 and S. 433571, South Auckland Land Registry; and also hereby proclaims that the road described in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the adjoining land held for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme) by Proclamation S. 144986, South Auckland Land Registry (New Zealand Gazette, 1958, p. 899).
