IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and Local Government Amendment Act (No. 4) 1978;
NOTICE is hereby given that the Thames-Coromandel District Council, proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work namely to lay out and construct a road to be known as Waiokaraka Road, Thames, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the general manager to the said Council situate in Mary Street, Thames, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send the same within 40 days from the first publication of the notice to the Secretary, Planning Tribunal, Tribunal Division, Postal Centre, Wellington. If any such objection is made a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council intends under the provisions of the Local Government Amendment Act 1978, to execute certain works namely to make a road, and for the purposes of such works the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, and notice is further given that plans showing the said lands are deposited at the office of the Council situated at Barkes Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, and may there be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the said work or by the taking of the said lands and who have an objection thereto, not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send the same to the Secretary, Planning Tribunal, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, so as to reach him not later than the 2nd day of August 1979, being 40 days after the first publication of this notice.
If any objection is received a public hearing of the same will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.
