SITUATED within Palmerston North City:
No. 56 State Highway (Palmerston North-Himatangi): from the western boundary of Palmerston North City to a point 20 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Maxwells Lines.
No. 57 State Highway (Levin-Palmerston North via Shannon): from the southern end of the bridge across the Manawatu River to the southern boundary of Palmerston North City.
No. 57A State Highway (Fitzherbert East Highway): from the eastern boundary of Palmerston North City to the No. 57 State Highway (Levin-Palmerston North via Shannon).
Kelvin Grove Road: from the eastern boundary of Palmerston North City to a point 180 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Karamca Crescent.
Petersens Road.
Railway Road: from the eastern boundary of Palmerston North City to a point 700 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from the said boundary.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Palmerston North City:
No. 57 State Highway (Levin-Palmerston North via Shannon): from the southern end of the bridge across the Manawatu River to the southern boundary of Palmerston North City.

Sale by Hawke’s Bay Harbour Board of Endowment Land Under Section 143A of the Harbours Act 1950
I, Colin Campbell Alexander McLachlan, Minister of Transport, pursuant to the powers vested in me by sections 143A and 143C of the Harbours Act 1950, and with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, do hereby specifically approve the sale by private treaty of the land vested in the Hawke’s Bay Harbour Board and described in the Schedule hereto subject to the condition that the Hawke’s Bay Harbour Board apply the proceeds from the sale approved hereunder for harbour works or improvement of endowment land remaining vested in the harbour board and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the 31st day of May 1979.

The Traffic (Thames-Coromandel District) Notice No. 2, 1979
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Thames-Coromandel District) Notice No. 2, 1979.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities from the Thursday preceding Labour Day until the Tuesday following Easter of each year pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas from the Wednesday following Easter until the Wednesday preceding Labour Day of each year pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Thames County) Notice No. 2, 1972, dated the 17th day of February 1972†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Thames County at Paku Peninsula, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Thames County) Notice No. 2, 1974, dated the 5th day of February 1974‡, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Thames County at Tairua, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames-Coromandel District at Tairua:
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the point where the northern side of Hemi Place intersects the eastern side of Paku Drive; thence north-easterly by a right line to a point on the shore line of the Pacific Ocean; thence north-westerly, generally, along the said shore line to a point due north-east of the point where the northern side of Ocean Beach Road intersects the eastern side of Paku Road; thence due south-west by a right line to the point where the northern side of Ocean Beach Road intersects the eastern side of No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel); thence across No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) at right angles from its eastern side to its western side; thence south-westerly, generally, by a right line to the north-western end of Pepe Road; thence due south to a point due east of a point on the eastern side of No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel), 480 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said side of the said State highway from Wharf Road; thence due east by a right line to the shore line of the Tairua Harbour; thence north-easterly, generally, and north-westerly, generally, along the shore line of the Tairua Harbour to the eastern side of No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) at the Pepe Stream Bridge; thence north-easterly, generally, to a point on the Tairua Harbour due west of the commencing point; thence due east by a right line to the commencing point.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames-Coromandel District at Tairua:
No 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from Plimsoll Road to a point 50 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State highway from Ocean Beach Road.
Ocean Beach Road.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames-Coromandel District at Tairua:
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the point on the Tairua Harbour due west of the point where the northern side of Hemi Place intersects the eastern side of Paku Drive; thence southerly, easterly, northerly, and westerly along the shore line of the Tairua Harbour and the Pacific Ocean to a point on the shore line of the Pacific Ocean due east of the intersection of the northern side of Hemi Place with the eastern side of Paku Drive; thence due west by a right line to the commencing point.
