Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve, Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for local purpose (site for a library) over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further declares that the said land may be leased or sold by the Milton Borough Council on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such leasing or sale to be paid into the Council’s Reserve Account, such moneys to be used and applied in or toward the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Appointment of the South Canterbury Catchment Board to Control and Manage a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby appoints the South Canterbury Catchment Board to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for local purpose (soil conservation and river control).
