Consent to the Generation of Electricity by the Egmont National Park Board at Dawson Falls by the Use of Water
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Energy hereby consents to the generation of electricity by the Egmont National Park Board at Dawson Falls by the use of water, subject to the following conditions.
CONDITIONS

The conditions directed by the Water Power Regulations 1934, to be implied in every licence to use water for the purpose of generating or storing electricity, shall be deemed to be conditions of this consent as if it were such a licence.

This consent is subject to compliance with the Water Power Regulations 1934, the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations hereafter made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations, as if in the case of the Water Power Regulations 1934 it were a licence under the Public Works Act 1928 to use water for the purpose of generating electricity, as well as a consent under the Electricity Act 1968, to generate electricity by the use of water.

The generation of electricity by the use of water, pursuant to this consent, shall be carried out by means of the works described in the Schedule hereto.

This consent shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 2000.

This consent confers no rights to water under the Water and Soil Conservation Act 1967 or otherwise.

For the purpose of assessing the rental or annual sum payable in respect of this consent, the maximum generating capacity of the plant at the date of this consent is 27 kW.
SCHEDULE
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
(a) Headworks consisting of a dam and intake on the Kapuni stream with a pipeline leading to the powerhouse giving a static head of approximately 67.05 metres.
(b) Pelton wheel and powerhouse with all necessary equipment for generating electricity.
(c) Tailrace leading from the powerhouse back to the stream.
All being in Block II, Kaupokonui Survey District.
As shown on the plan marked NZE 962 deposited in the office of the Electricity Division of the Ministry of Energy at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 2, 1979.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

Peninsula Road: from Grove Lane to a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Peninsula Road from Poplar Drive.

SITUATED within Lake County at Kelvin Heights:
Bay View Road.
Peninsula Road: from a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Peninsula Road from Poplar Drive to a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Peninsula Road from Bay View Road.

Inglewood High School Board of Governors Notice 1979
PURSUANT to Section 54 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- (1) This notice may be cited as the Inglewood High School Board of Governors Notice 1979.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1979.
- There shall be a Board of Governors of Inglewood High School which shall be constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the Taranaki Education Board;
(b) One member elected by the teachers at the school;
(c) Six members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;
(d) Three members to be co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if and when it fits.
- The Taranaki Education Board shall cease to control Inglewood High School and the sole control of that school shall be vested in the Board of Governors constituted by clause 2 of this notice.

PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- (1) This notice shall be cited as the McLeans Road Secondary School Amendment Notice 1979.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 13th day of May 1979.
- The McLeans Road Secondary School Notice 1979* is hereby amended by deleting from paragraph 3 (d) the words “One member”, and substituting the words “Two members”.
