Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road in Block IX, Maungataniwha Survey District, County of Hokianga

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road, and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Kaitaia, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Planning Tribunal at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that piece of land containing 3161 square metres, being Section 6, Block IX, Maungataniwha Survey District. PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as closed road described in the Schedule hereto and declares that the road firstly described shall, when so closed, vest in Donal Graham Burgess, of Halcombe, farmer, that the road secondly described shall, when so closed, vest in William Arthur Cecil Abbiss, of Halcombe, farmer,
