The Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 1, 1979
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
-
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rodney County) Notice No. 1, 1979.
-
The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
-
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
-
The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rodney County at Hatfields Beach:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 200 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Puriri Street to the Otanerua Stream Bridge.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rodney County at Omaha:
All that area bounded by a line commencing on the southern side of Broadlands Drive at its intersection with the western shore of the Omaha Peninsula; thence by a right line due east to the eastern shore of the Omaha Peninsula; thence northerly, generally, along the western shore of the Omaha Peninsula to Te Taumutu Point; thence southerly, generally, along the western shore of the Omaha Peninsula to the commencing point.
SITUATED within Rodney County at Shelly Beach:
Shelly Beach Road: from a point measured 200 metres westerly, generally, along the said road from James McLeod Avenue to its termination at the Kaipara Harbour.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rodney County at Kumeu:
Riverhead Road: from the No. 16 State Highway (Auckland-Well sford) to a point 120 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from Koroha Road.

The Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 1, 1979
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 4, 1970, dated the 20th day of October 1970†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Otamatea County at Paparoa, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Otamatea County at Paparoa:
No. 12 State Highway (Ohaewai-Maungaturoto via Dargaville): from a point 100 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said highway from Franklin Road to a point 180 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said highway from Paparoa-Oakleigh Road.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Otamatea County at Paparoa:
No. 12 State Highway (Ohaewai-Maungaturoto via Dargaville): from a point 100 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said highway from Franklin Road to a point 100 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said highway from Pahi Road; and from a point 180 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said highway from Oakleigh-Paparoa Road to a point 760 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said highway from Oakleigh-Paparoa Road.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ohinemuri County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The notice under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, dated the 6th day of June 1962†, which relates to roads situated within Ohinemuri County at Waikino, is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Ohinemuri County at Waikino:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 450 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Old Waitekauri Road to a point 150 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from Old Waitekauri Road.

The Traffic (Ashburton County) Notice No. 1, 1979
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ashburton County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962; from Friday of Labour Day weekend until Labour Day; and from the 20th day of December to the 10th day of February; and from the Thursday before Easter to the Tuesday following Easter of each year.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962; from the day after Labour Day to the 19th day of December; and from the 11th day of February to the Wednesday before Easter; and from the Wednesday after Easter to the Thursday before Labour Day weekend of each year.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Ashburton County at Lake Clearwater:
Hakatere Potts Road: from a point 220 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Mount Possession Road to a point 200 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said road from Mount Possession Road.
