SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of land containing 8565 square metres, situated
in Block I, Motatau Survey District, being part Motatau 3P
Block; as shown marked "X" on plan S.O. 52625, lodged in
the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
20th day of April 1979.

Altering the Boundaries of the West Coast and Buller Electric
Power Districts

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 6 of the Electric Power Boards Act
1925, I, Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the West Coast
and Buller Electric Power Districts by excluding the area,
described in the First Schedule hereto, from the Buller
Electric Power District, and by including that area in the
West Coast Electric Power District, and further, I hereby
declare that the boundaries of the West Coast and Buller
Electric Power Districts, shall be those described in the
Second and Third Schedules hereto respectively.

FIRST SCHEDULE

All that area in the Nelson Land District, Buller County,
bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the
southern and westerly boundaries of Block III, Inangahua
District, and proceeding northerly along the western boundary
of Section III, Inangahua Survey District, to its northernmost
point thence northerly along the western boundary of Block
XVI, Orikaka Survey District, to a point due west of the
northern boundary of Section 2, Block XVI, aforesaid, thence
easterly to the boundary of that section at its westernmost
point; thence generally southerly along the western boundary
of the said Section 2, the northern and western boundaries of
Section 15, Block XVI, aforesaid, the western boundary
of Section 11, Block XVI, aforesaid, and the northern and
western boundaries of Section 8, Block III, Inangahua District
to its south western corner, thence generally easterly along
the southern boundaries of the said Section 8, and Section
10, Block III, aforesaid, and the last-mentioned boundary
produced to the middle of the Buller River; thence generally
south westerly down the middle of that river to the northern
boundary of Block VI Inangahua Survey District, thence
westerly along the northern boundary of the said Block VI,
to the point of commencement. The said area is shown on
a plan marked NZE 981, deposited in the office of the
Electricity Division of the Ministry of Energy at Wellington,
and thereon outlined in red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Firstly all that area described in the Second Schedule to
the Proclamation altering the boundaries of the West Coast
and Buller Electric Power Districts dated the 28th day of
March 1973, and published in the New Zealand Gazette
No. 31, on 12 April 1973, p. 724, and secondly all that area
described in the First Schedule hereto.

THIRD SCHEDULE

All that area described in the Third Schedule to the Pro-
clamation altering the boundaries of the West Coast and
Buller Electric Power Districts dated the 28th day of March
1973 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 31,
on 12 April 1973, p. 724, less the area described in the First
Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
6th day of April 1979.

VII, Town of Macetown

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right
Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a historic
reserve; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 3rd day of May 1979.

The Auckland Regional Authority Foreshore and Waters
Control Order 1979

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 17th day
of April 1979.

Present:

The Rt. Hon. R. D. MULDOON Presiding in Council

Pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (a) This order may be cited as the Auckland Regional
    Authority Foreshore and Waters Control Order 1979.

(b) This order shall come into force on the date of its
publication in the Gazette.

  1. In this order:

"the Act" means the Harbours Act 1950;

"the authority" means the Auckland Regional Auth-
ority;

"foreshore" means such parts of the bed, shore or banks
of the tidal water as are covered and uncovered by
the flow and ebb of the tide at ordinary spring tide;

"Minister" means the Minister of Transport and includes
any officer, person or authority acting by or under the
direction or authority of the Minister.
