Proclaiming an area in the City of Napier to be a Reclamation Area under Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, I, Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim the parcel of land defined in the Schedule hereto to be a reclamation area under Part II of the said Act; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of April 1979.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land situated within the City of Napier, at No. 6 Nelson Crescent, being more particularly the land described below, containing a total area of four hundred and forty-eight square metres (448 m²), or thereabouts, being Lot 6 on Deposited Plan 3610, being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title (H.B. Registry), No. C4/1141.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of April 1979.

The Harbour Board Employees Superannuation Scheme Order 1979

THE RIGHT HON. R. D. MULDOON PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1942, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. Title—This order may be cited as the Harbour Board Employees Superannuation Scheme Order 1979.

  2. Consent to variation to superannuation scheme—Consent is hereby given to any Harbour Board referred to in the Schedule to the agreement hereinafter mentioned varying any superannuation scheme, established pursuant to the Harbour Board Employees Superannuation Scheme Order 1976*, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and provisions of an agreement made on the 27th day of November 1978 between the Harbours Association of New Zealand and the New Zealand Harbour Boards Employees Industrial Union of Workers, a copy of which agreement has been deposited in the office of the Secretary of Labour and also in the office of the Secretary to the Treasury at Wellington.

Appointment of Growers’ Representative on the Tobacco Board

PURSUANT to section 4 and section 5 of the Tobacco Growing Industry Act 1974, the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby appoints

Jack Lawson Inglis,

tobacco grower, of Riwaka, being a person nominated by the New Zealand Tobacco Growers’ Federation in accordance with section 6 of the said Act, to be a growers’ representative on the Tobacco Board for a term ending on 31 August 1981.

Appointment of Additional Members of the Co-operative Dairy Companies Tribunal

PURSUANT to section 17 of the Co-operative Dairy Companies Act 1949 (as amended by section 7 of the Co-operative Dairy Companies Amendment Act 1978), I hereby

(1) Appoint, pursuant to subsection 2 (a) of that section Bernard Keith Knowles

of Wellington, general manager, to be an additional member of the tribunal;

(2) Appoint, pursuant to subsection 2 (b) of that section Warren John Burch

of Wellington, public servant, to be an additional member of the tribunal.
