Declaring Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in the Borough of Taumarunui

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for State housing purposes, from and after the 11th day of April 1979.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto which land shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay County Council, and hereby proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, and hereby declares that the road firstly and secondly described in the said Second Schedule hereto, when so closed, shall vest in Gordon Charles Maulder, of Puketapu, farmer, subject to mortgages 331730.2 and 347422.1, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry, and hereby declares that the road thirdly described in the said Second Schedule hereto, when so closed, shall vest in Joyce-Eleanor Johansen, of Hastings, widow, as to an undivided three-quarter share, and Gary Edward Johansen, of Rissington, farmer, as to an undivided quarter share, subject to mortgages 278606 and 345395.3, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry, and hereby declares the road fourthly described in the said Second Schedule hereto, to be added to the land held for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road described in the Third Schedule hereto.
