Conciliator of Industrial Conciliation Service Appointed
PURSUANT to section 63 of the Industrial Relations Act 1973, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour, has been pleased to appoint
John Harold Bufton,
of Auckland, to be a conciliator of the Industrial Conciliation Service for a term of 3 years commencing on the 2nd day of February 1979.

Deputy Chairman of the Earthquake and War Damage Commission Appointed
PURSUANT to section 4 (d) of the Earthquake and War Damage Act 1944, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
William Robert Fenton
as a member, and pursuant to section 3, as Deputy Chairman of the Earthquake and War Damage Commission with effect from 1 April 1979, vice Havilland Charles Rapsey Blackwood, resigned as from 31 March 1979.
