CORRIGENDUM

Defining the Area of Land Over Which a Public Right-of-Way Exists Around Lake Taupo

In the notice with the above heading, published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 10, 15 February 1979, p. 298, line 9 of the Schedule, for “1,6488 hectares” read “1.6488 hectares”.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for sanitary works, together with the benefit of the rights of way appurtenant thereto created by S. 434098 and P.R. 243/37, South Auckland Land Registry, and subject to the right of way created by S. 434248, South Auckland Land Registry, and shall vest in the Morrinsville Borough Council as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of April 1979.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1438 square metres, situated in Block VI, Maungakawa Survey District, being part Maungatapu D3C Block; as shown on plan S.O. 49076, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton and thereon marked “C”.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of March 1979.

Declaring Land Acquired for a Local Work and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre and 6.2 perches, being portion of Kawhia P, No. 8, Section 3, Block IX, Kawhia North Survey District; as shown on plan P.W.D. 81771 (S.O. 26082), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of March 1979.

Temporary Judge of the Maori Land Court Appointed

PURSUANT to section 16A (2) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

William Collinson Nicholson, Esquire,

to be a Judge of the Maori Land Court, to hold office from and including 29 March 1979, up to and including 28 March 1980.
