Proclaiming Areas in the City of Napier to be Reclamation Areas under Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, I, Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim the parcels of land defined in the Schedule hereto to be reclamation areas under Part II of the said Act; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of February 1979.

SCHEDULE

ALL those areas of land situated within City of Napier:

First, at number 6A Nelson Crescent, being more particularly the land described below, containing a total area of two thousand five hundred and seventy-eight square metres (2578 m²) or thereabouts, being Lots 5 and 6 on Deposited Plan 3804, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title (H.B. Registry), Volume G3, folio 1173; and Second, on the southern side of Wellesley Road, being more particularly the land described below, containing a total area of six thousand four hundred and nine square metres (6409 m²) or thereabouts being:

Lots 32 and 34 on Deposited Plan 2172, Lots 1 and 2 on Deposited Plan 6251, Lots 1, 2, 3 and part Lot 4 on Deposited Plan 4097, being all the land comprised and described in certificates of title (H.B. Registry), No. D4/247, No. C1/35, No. C4/1064, No. C4/1142, No. E3/832, Volume 90, folio 266, Volume 95, folio 232, part Volume 47, folio 15.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 24th day of February 1979.

Land Held for Housing Purposes in the City of Christchurch Set Apart for a Works Yard

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was taken for housing purposes and vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Heathcote by Proclamation dated the 2nd day of March 1960 and published in New Zealand Gazette, 10 March 1960, Volume I, at p. 312: now therefore, pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1952, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the said land is hereby set apart as from the 8th day of March 1979 for a works yard.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 39.1 perches, situated in the City of Christchurch, being part Lot 7, D.P. 9938, part of the land in Proclamation No. 521554, as shown on plan P.W.D. 159502 (S.O. 9470) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington and thereon coloured orange.
