Cancellation of the Vesting in the Blenheim Borough Council of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Blenheim Borough Council of the reserve for gravel purposes, described in the Schedule hereto.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a place of historical significance as a landing and recreation ground to be known as Te Tamahae Maori Reservation for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Wiremu Tiaki Paora and the people of the Whanau-A-Te-Ehutu Tribe.

NOTICE

PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves for the purposes of regulation 78 (1) (as inserted by regulation 3 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 2), the fitting in the seating positions specified in the Schedule hereto of the alternative types of seat belts specified in the said Schedule to the vehicles specified in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

IN respect of Toyota Dyna Chassis/Cab models RU20R-QRBT3 (Petrol) (with vehicle unit numbers up to 171) and BU30R-QRDHT3 (Diesel) (with vehicle unit numbers up to 151), and Toyota Hilux Chassis/Cab models RN40R-JRS3 (with vehicle unit numbers up to 401) and RN41R-JR3 (with vehicle unit numbers up to 171); three-point lap and diagonal seat belts, not including dual sensitive emergency locking retractors, of an approved type for the use of the driver and the front seat passenger nearest the left side of the vehicle (or the right side of the vehicle in respect of a left-hand drive vehicle).

2.
