Land Taken for Sanitary Works in Block V, Clyde Survey District, Wairoa County

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for sanitary works and shall vest in the Wairoa Borough Council as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 13th day of December 1979.
SCHEDULE
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 5.4800 hectares, being part Lot 1, D.P. 3350, situated in Block V, Clyde Survey District; as shown on plan S.O. 7253, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier, and thereon marked ‘A’.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of December 1979.

Vesting Land Reclaimed from the Tamaki River at Pakuranga in the Auckland Regional Authority

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 12th day of November 1979
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175D of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in the Auckland Regional Authority the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land was authorised for reclamation by Order in Council* dated 9 August 1971, pursuant to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of reclaimed Crown land situated in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District, containing 2.3050 hectares, as shown marked A, B, and C, on plan S.O. 52269 (M.D. 15972).
The District Land Registrar is hereby authorised to make such entries in his register as are necessary to give effect to this order.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Army.
REGULAR FORCE
ROYAL REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY
Colonel Commandant
Brigadier J. Burns, D.S.O., M.B.E., Retired List, is appointed Colonel Commandant, Royal Regiment of N.Z. Artillery, for a further period of 2 years, with effect from 1 April 1979.
Supernumerary List
Major Graham John Williams is posted to the Retired List, with effect from 1 November 1979.
Captain (temp. Major) and Quartermaster Philip Richard Roberts Rutherford, M.B.E., is posted to the Retired List, in the rank of Major and Quartermaster, with effect from 3 November 1979.
ROYAL N.Z. ARMOURED CORPS
Lieutenant-Colonel Geoffrey Thomas Bowes is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, in the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, with effect from 8 November 1979.
ROYAL N.Z. CORPS OF SIGNALS
Major Terence Neal Culley is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, General List, in the rank of Major, with effect from 15 November 1979.
