The Road Classification (Strathallan Co.) Notice No. 1. 1979

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Strathallan County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

  2. The Strathallan County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. The notice dated the 2nd day of November 1950† which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Badham Road.
Coach Road.
Coopers Creek - Peel Forest Road.

Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1977—Approval of Alternative Form of Record

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to Regulation 39, of the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1977*, the Director-General has approved a record in the form of a computer printout of the supply of controlled drugs on prescription, such record being made and maintained in accordance with the system hereinafter described:

  1. The computer to be used shall be the “Foundation 3300 Pharmacy Microcomputer” model, or equivalent.

  2. Information to be recorded shall include the date of supply; the name and amount of controlled drug supplied; the surname and initials of first names, and address of the patient; the surname and initials of first names, and address of the prescriber as required by Regulation 37 (3) Misuse of Drugs Regulations 1977.

  3. The discs which store this information shall be held in a place of security on the premises, for a minimum period of 4 years, following the date of the last record on a given disc.

  4. Appropriate labels, which comply with the requirements of the above regulations, shall also be provided.

Poisons Regulations 1964—Approval of Alternative Form of Record

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to Regulation 61, of the Poisons Regulations 1964*, the Registrar has approved a record in the form of a computer printout, of the supply on prescription of any poison as a medicine, such record being made and maintained in accordance with the system hereinafter described:

  1. The computer to be used shall be the “Foundation 3300 Pharmacy Microcomputer” model, or equivalent.

  2. Information to be recorded shall include the date of supply, the name and amount of the poison supplied, the name and address of the patient, the name of the prescriber, the number of repeats authorised, and the initials of the dispenser.

  3. The discs which store this information shall be held in a place of security, on the premises, for a minimum period of 3 years, following the date of the last record on a given disc.

  4. Appropriate labels, which comply with the requirements of the Poisons Regulations 1964, shall also be provided.

Public Notice—Commerce Act 1975

By decision No. 42, dated 29 November 1979, the Commerce Commission resolved:

To consent, pursuant to section 78 (1) (a) of the Commerce Act 1975, to the takeover proposal whereby L. D. Nathan and Co. Ltd. will acquire all the issued ordinary stock units in McKenzies (N.Z.) Ltd.

A copy of the text of the full decision is available for public inspection at the Commission’s office, Sixth Floor, Chase-NBA House, 163 The Terrace, Wellington. Copies may be purchased at a cost of $2.30 on application to the Executive Officer (P.O. Box 10-273).

Closing Date for Applications for Fishing Licences in Respect to the Foveaux Strait Dredge Oyster Fishery (Notice No. 2279, Ag. 9/3/1/21/3)

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 121 of the Fisheries Act 1908, that the Fisheries Licensing Authority hereby specifies the 14th day of December 1979 as the closing date for the receipt by it of applications for a licence in respect of the Foveaux Strait Dredge Oyster Controlled Fishery. Application forms may be obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.

The Controlled (Non-Resident) Accounts Notice No. 1, 1979

PURSUANT to the Exchange Control Regulations 1978, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Controlled (Non-Resident) Accounts Notice No. 1, 1979.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the 3rd day of December 1979.

  1. In this notice, the expression “non-resident account” means an account kept by any person in the name, or directly or indirectly for the benefit, of any person, or any two or more persons, if that person or any of those persons is:

(a) Not ordinarily resident in New Zealand (within the meaning of the Exchange Control Regulations 1978); or

(b) A trustee for or a nominee or agent of any person not ordinarily resident in New Zealand (within the meaning of the said regulations).

  1. The non-resident accounts specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be controlled accounts for the purposes of regulation 6 of the Exchange Control Regulations 1978.
