Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 16 November 1979, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the New Zealand All Golds Association Incorporated.
To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to their members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Notice of Approval of Alternative Types of Seat Belts for Certain Motor Vehicles
NOTICE
PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves for the purposes of regulation 78 (1A) (as inserted by regulation 3 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 Amendment No 2), the fitting in the seating positions specified in the Schedule hereto of the alternative types of seat belts specified in the said Schedule to the vehicles specified in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE
In respect of any Ford Escort Wagon, Ford Cortina Wagon, and Ford Cortina Sedan with a serial number included in the list below, two-point lap seat belts of an approved type for the use of the rear seat passenger nearest the left side of the vehicle and the rear seat passenger nearest the right side of the vehicle.

The Water Recreation (Waihao River) Notice 1979
PURSUANT to the Water Recreation Regulations 1979*, I, Robin Paul Taylor of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give the following notice.
NOTICE
- (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Waihao River) Notice 1979.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette, and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, regulations 7 (1) (a) and (b), 7 (2), 8 (1) (a) and (b), and 8 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 shall not apply with respect to the area described in the First Schedule hereto.

Notice is hereby given that the Motor Launch (Waihao River) Notice 1970 is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL the waters of the Waihao River, including the Dead Arm, enclosed by the arc of a circle of 400 metres radius from the landward end of the Waihao Box Outlet, situated in Block IV, Waitaki Survey District, and as more particularly shown on plan M.D. 15977 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.
SECOND SCHEDULE

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this notice, no person who is permitted by any such provision to propel or navigate a small craft at a speed through the water exceeding five knots shall do so in any manner that is likely to endanger or unduly annoy any person who is in, on, or using the water, or fishing or undertaking any recreational activity in the vicinity of the small craft.

All persons in charge of a vessel or when water skiing shall adhere to and keep the provisions of all other acts and regulations not specifically exempted by this notice.

A suitable notice as may be approved by the Regional Marine Officer, Ministry of Transport, Christchurch, shall be erected at the launching ramp.
