Amending a Notice Proclaiming Road Closed and Vested in Block X, Uawa Survey District, Cook County

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the notice dated the 4th day of October 1979, and published in Gazette, 18 October 1979, No. 96, on page 3016, proclaiming road closed and vested in Block X, Uawa Survey District, Cook County, by omitting the words “Lots 4 and 8, D.P. 2390” as they appear in the Schedule as to the description of the area of road containing 2039 square metres marked ‘A’ on plan S.O. 6605 referred to therein and substituting the words “Lot 4, D.P. 2390, and Lot 8, D.P. 2874”.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for local purpose (road) over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Whangarei County Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
