The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 2, 1979

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 2, 1979.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities, pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

4. The Traffic (Waikato County) Notice No. 2, 1970, dated the 3rd day of December 1970†, issued pursuant to section 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Waikato County at Taupiri, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waikato County at Taupiri:

Gleesone Place.
Greenlane Road.
Lovell Avenue.
Murphy Lane.
Onslow Avenue.

Orini Road: from the Taupiri-Hamilton Bypass to a point 100 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from the Taupiri-Hamilton Bypass.

Te Putu Street.
The Crescent.
Wright Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waikato County at Taupiri:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from Kainui Road to a point 250 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State Highway from the Taupiri-Hamilton Bypass.

Taupiri-Hamilton Bypass: from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 300 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said road from Te Putu Street.

The Traffic (Mount Herbert County) Notice No. 1, 1979

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Mount Herbert County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities from the Friday preceding Labour Day until the Tuesday following Easter of each year, pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas from the Wednesday following Easter until the Thursday preceding Labour Day of each year, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Mount Herbert County at Purau:

Camp Bay Road: from the Purau-Port Levy Road to a point 200 metres measured easterly generally along Camp Bay Road from the Purau-Port Levy Road.

Monalua Avenue.

Purau-Port Levy Road: from the Teddington-Purau Road to a point 500 metres measured southerly generally along the Purau-Port Levy Road from the Teddington-Purau Road.

Teddington-Purau Road: from the Purau-Port Levy Road to a point 750 metres measured westerly and northerly generally along the Teddington-Purau Road from the Purau-Port Levy Road.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitotara County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities, pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. So much of the Traffic (Waitotara County) Notice No. 1, 1977, dated the 30th day of June 1977*, issued pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, which relates to Cathro and Springvale Roads situated within Waitotara County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waitotara County adjacent to Wanganui City:

Cathro Road.

Papaiti Road: from the eastern boundary of Wanganui City to a point 400 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from the Wanganui City boundary.

Springvale Road: from the north-western boundary of Wanganui City to a point 400 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from the Wanganui City boundary.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area, pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimate County at Hakataramea:

Old Slip Road: from a point 550 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from the No. 82 State Highway (Deep Creek-Kurow via Waimate) to the south-eastern end of the road.
