Waikaka Fire District Notice 1979

PURSUANT to section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the
New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the
following notice.

NOTICE

1. Title and commencement:
   (1) This notice may be cited as the Waikaka Fire District
   Notice 1979.
   (2) This notice shall come into effect on the 1st day of
   December 1979.

2. The Waikaka Fire District, declared to be a fire district
   by the Fire Service Act 1975, is hereby abolished, and a
   fire district to be known as the Waikaka Fire District is
   hereby constituted.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, Southland
County, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station 1,
situated at the south-east corner of Block XII, Waikaka
Survey District, and proceeding northerly along the eastern
boundary of Block XII, Waikaka Survey District to the
middle of the Steeple Burn; thence generally easterly down
the middle of the Steeple Burn to its confluence with the
middle of the Waikaka River; thence generally southerly

down the middle of the Waikaka River to a point in line
with the northern boundary of Section 17, Block X, Waikaka
Survey District; thence south-easterly to and along that
boundary to Block Road; thence by a right line across Block
Road to the north-western corner of Run 3, Block X,
