Notice of Approval of Alternative Types of Seat Belts for Certain Motor Vehicles

NOTICE

PURSUANT to subclause (1) of regulation 88 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves for the purposes of regulation 78 (1A) (as inserted by regulation 3 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, Amendment No. 2), the fitting in the seating positions specified in the Schedule hereto of the alternative types of seat belts specified in the said Schedule to the vehicles specified in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

IN respect of any HZ Holden Utility, Holden One Ton Chassis/Cab and Bedford CF with a serial number included in the list below, three-point lap and diagonal seat belts, not including dual sensitive emergency locking retractors, of an approved type for the use of the driver and the front seat passenger nearest to the left side of the vehicle (or the right side of the vehicle in respect of a left-hand drive vehicle).

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 2266, Ag. 61422)

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:

(i) An area of 1012 square metres, more or less, situated to the north and fronted by Fairview Terrace (John Street), and bordered to the east by Kaira Street (Thomas Street), in the township of Shawfield, being Lot 68, Block 1, Deposited Plan 659, and being part Sections 1 and 3, Sawyers Bay district. Certificate of title 376/115 (Otago Registry).

Boundaries of Hawke’s Bay County Defined

PURSUANT to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Secretary for Local Government hereby defines as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of Hawke’s Bay County, those boundaries having been altered by Order in Council made on 11 March 1974, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 24, 1974, p. 454, and again by Order in Council made on 1 September 1975, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 72, 1975, p. 1957, and again by Order in Council made on 22 March 1976, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 31, 1976, p. 687, and again by Order in Council made on 25 September 1978, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 82, 1978, p. 2648.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ngaruroro River in line with the north-western boundary of Tapapa No. 1 and 2 Blocks, Block IV, Kaweka Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Oamaru Stream, and down the middle of that stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Tapapa No. 3 Block; thence south-easterly and easterly along the south-western and southern boundaries of Tapapa No. 3 Block and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Mohaka River; thence northerly up the middle of the Mohaka River to a point in line with the southern boundary of Wharetoto No. 1 Block; thence easterly generally to and along that boundary and the eastern boundary of that block to its intersection with the southern boundary of Block IX, Tarawera Survey District, along that boundary, and approximately 10 chains along the southern boundary of Block X, Tarawera Survey District, to its intersection with a tributary of the Toropapa Stream, as shown on M.L. 1404; thence north-easterly down that tributary to the south-western boundary of Tarawera
