Transport hereby gives the following notice.

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hawke’s Bay
   County) Notice No. 1, 1979.

2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby
   declared to be a closely populated locality pursuant to
   section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of
Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Southland County)
   Notice No. 2, 1979.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
   hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to
   section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
   hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas
   pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

4. The Traffic (Southland County) Notice No. 1, 1979,
   dated the 8th day of May 1979†, issued pursuant to section 52
   of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the
   Traffic Regulations 1976, which relates to roads situated
   within Southland County at Edendale, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Southland County at Edendale:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 300
metres measured northerly, generally, along the said State
highway from Ferry Road to a point 480 metres measured
westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Bath

The Traffic (Cambridge Borough) Notice No. 1, 1979

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of
Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Cambridge
   Borough) Notice No. 1, 1979.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
   hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by
   section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
   hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas
   pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

4. That notice in terms of section 3 of the Motor Vehicles
   Amendment Act 1936 excluding certain roads and streets
   specified in the Schedule thereto from limitations as to speed
   described in the said section, printed in the New Zealand
   Gazette on the 22nd day of December 1936 at page 2511 and
   dated the 21st day of December 1936, is hereby revoked.

5. The Traffic (Cambridge Borough) Notice No. 1, 1978†,
   dated the 22nd August 1978, issued pursuant to section 52 of
   the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic
   Regulations 1976 which relates to roads situated in Cam-
   bride Borough, is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Cambridge Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from a point 30
metres measured easterly generally along the said State High-
way from Fort Street to the eastern boundary of Cambridge
Borough.

Browning Street: from Carlyle Street to the eastern
boundary of Cambridge Borough.

Carlyle Street: from Burns Street to Lamb Street.

Lamb Street: from Carlyle Street to the western boundary
of Cambridge Borough; and from Carlyle Street to the
eastern boundary of Cambridge Borough.
