PURSUANT to section 175 (3) and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Golden Bay County Council to reclaim from the bed of Motupipi Inlet at Takaka an area of 4 hectares, more or less, as more particularly shown on plan M.D. (C) 223 (S.O. 12343) and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Retention of the Title “The Honourable”

His Excellency the Governor-General has advised that Her Majesty The Queen has been graciously pleased to approve the retention of the title “The Honourable” by:

James Walker Bain

on his retirement as a temporary Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand on 18 June 1979; and

John Raymond Mills, C.M.G.

on his retirement as a temporary Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand on 23 October 1979.
