The Road Classification (Papakura City) Notice No. 1, 1979

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Papakura City) Notice No. 1, 1979.

  2. The Papakura City Council’s proposed classification of the roads, as set out in the Schedule hereto, is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice dated 29 March 1972†, as relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

Croskery Road: from Hunna Road to Dominion Road.
Dominion Road: from Croskery Road to Settlement Road.
East Street: from Queen Street to Wood Street.
Great South Road: from the northern boundary of Papakura City to Queen Street; and from Wood Street to the southern boundary of Papakura City.
Queen Street: from Great South Road to East Street.
Railway Street East: from Onslow Road to Clevedon Road.
Wood Street: from East Street to Great South Road.

Approval of Revolving Amber Lights for Certain Vehicles

PURSUANT to subclause (8) of regulation 67 of the Traffic Regulations 1976*, the Secretary for Transport hereby approves the fitting of one revolving or flashing yellow or amber light to the straddle trucks owned by Henderson and Pollard Industries Limited, Auckland. This approval is given subject to the following conditions:

(1) The vehicle shall be painted a conspicuous colour;

(2) On public roads the light shall only be used while the vehicle, by its position on the road, is causing a hazard to other road users;

(3) The light shall be fitted to the front of the vehicle, approximately 2.1 metres above the road;

(4) When the vehicle is on a public road, the headlights shall be used at all times.

The Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 4

PURSUANT to the Milk Act 1967, the Milk Prices Authority hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (i) This notice may be cited as the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 4.

(ii) This notice shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of July 1979.

(iii) This notice is given after consultation with the Minister of Agriculture.

(iv) This notice further amends the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977* (hereinafter referred to as “the principal notice”), as varied by the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 1†, and the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 2‡, and the Milk Treatment Allowances Notice 1977, Amendment No. 3§.

  1. The principal notice is hereby further varied by revoking the Schedule thereto and replacing the same with the following Schedule.

SCHEDULE

STANDARD RATES OF MARGINS AND ALLOWANCES PAYABLE FOR SERVICES PERFORMED IN RESPECT OF TOWN MILK

Nature of Service Margin or Allowance at the Rate of Cents per Litre
1. Treatment by treatment station if the aggregate quantity treated is:
(1) 11 500 litres or over per day 5.62
(2) 4 500 litres or over but less than 11 500 litres per day 5.68
(3) Less than 4 500 litres per day 6.89
2. Treatment by treatment station if such milk is not stored by refrigeration in the treatment station pending delivery but is stored elsewhere, and if the aggregate quantity treated is:
(1) 11 500 litres or over per day 5.51
(2) 4 500 litres or over but less than 11 500 litres per day 5.57
(3) Less than 4 500 litres per day 6.78
3. Homogenisation by treatment station, if the aggregate quantity homogenised is:
(1) 4 500 litres or over per day 0.69
(2) 2 250 litres or over but less than 4 500 litres per day 0.92
(3) Less than 2 250 litres per day 1.17
4. Diverting to town milk industry by treatment station of skim milk if the aggregate quantity diverted is:
(1) 4 500 litres or over per day 0.38
(2) 2 250 litres or over but less than 4 500 litres per day 0.46
(3) Less than 2 250 litres per day 0.54
5. Storing by refrigeration in vendor’s depot 0.64
6. Storing by refrigeration in community depot 0.96

NOTICE

  1. (i) This notice may be cited as the Cream Treatment Allowances Notice 1975, Amendment No. 3.

(ii) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of March 1980.

(iii) This notice is given after consultation with the Minister of Agriculture.

(iv) This notice amends the Cream Treatment Allowances Notice 1975* (hereinafter referred to as “the principal notice”) as varied by the Cream Treatment Allowances Notice 1975 Amendment No. 1† and the Cream Treatment Allowances Notice 1975 Amendment No. 2‡.

  1. This notice applies to all cream sold anywhere in New Zealand after the coming into force of this notice.

  2. The principal notice is hereby further varied by revoking the Schedule thereto and replacing the same with the following Schedule.
