(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette and shall remain in force until further notice in the Gazette.

2. Subject to the conditions set forth in the Second Schedule hereto, the area of water described in the First Schedule hereto shall be exempted from regulations 11 (b), 11 (c), and 12 (b) and 12 (c) of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 between sunrise and sunset for the term of this notice excepting during the first weekend of the duckshooting season and before the hour of 9 a.m. and after the hour of 4 p.m. during the subsequent weekends of such season.

FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that area of water of the Clive River extending from the estuary to a point marked with a noticeboard approximately 2.4 kilometres upstream.

SECOND SCHEDULE

1. Suitable notices as may be approved by the district officer, Ministry of Transport, at Napier, shall be erected at the limits of the area described in the First Schedule to this notice.

2. Any person in charge of a vessel when proceeding at a speed greater than 5 miles per hour within the area described in the First Schedule to this notice shall not approach, pass, or carry out any manoeuvre that is likely to threaten the safety of or cause undue annoyance to any other person using the water for fishing, boating, swimming or any other recreational pursuit.
