The Traffic (Whangarei County) Notice No. 3, 1978

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whangarei County) Notice No. 3, 1978.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

  4. So much of the Traffic (Whangarei County) Notice No. 2, 1977, dated the 26th day of May 1977†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, which relates to roads situated within Whangarei County at Ruakaka, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangarei County at Ruakaka:

Bream Bay Drive.

Garland Road.

Marsden Point Road eastern accessway: from a point 200 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Seaview Road to its northern end.

Princes Road.

Ruakaka Beach Road: from a point 250 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said road from Bream Bay Drive to the eastern end of Ruakaka Beach Road.

Seaview Road.

Slako Crescent.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Whangarei County at Ruakaka:

Camelia Avenue.

Marsden Point Road: from a point 160 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to Seaview Road.

Marsh Road.

Ruakaka Beach Road: from Marsden Point Road to a point 250 metres measured southerly, generally, along Ruakaka Beach Road from Bream Bay Drive.

The Traffic (Paeroa Borough) Notice No. 1, 1978

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paeroa Borough) Notice No. 1, 1978.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

  4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*,

  5. The Traffic (Paeroa Borough) Notice No. 1, 1977, dated the 14th day of July 1977†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1976, which relates to roads situated within Paeroa Borough, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Paeroa Borough:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from the north-western boundary of Paeroa Borough to Brenan Street, and from the south-eastern boundary of Paeroa Borough to a point 400 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said highway from Russell Street.

No. 26 State Highway (Hamilton-Kopu): from the northern boundary of Paeroa Borough to a point 200 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said highway from Station Road.

Taylors Avenue: from No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 80 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said avenue from Bush Street.

Taylors Avenue: from No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 80 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said avenue from Bush Street.

THIRD SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Paeroa Borough:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from the north western boundary of Paeroa Borough to Brenan Street.
