Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Porirua City Council

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for local purpose (off-street parking) and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, vests the said reserve in the Porirua City Corporation in trust for that purpose.

Environmental Impact Report Notified—Browns Bay Boat Ramp, Auckland

THE Commission for the Environment has received an environmental impact report on a proposal by the Browns Bay Boating Club Inc. to provide trailer boat launching facilities and parking spaces for cars and boat-trailers at Browns Bay Beach, Auckland.

Representations in writing on the environmental aspects of the proposal and on the report are invited and should be sent to the Commission for the Environment, P.O. Box 11244, Wellington, before 4 November 1978.

Copies of the report may be purchased from the Town Clerk, City of East Coast Bays, P.O. Box 35017, Browns Bay, Auckland 10, at a cost of $2. Copies may also be seen at the public libraries in Takapuna and Browns Bay as well as at the libraries of the four main centres and the seven university institutions.
