Proclaiming Areas in The City of Christchurch to be Reclamation Areas under Part II of The Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, I, Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim the parcels of land defined in the Schedule hereto to be Reclamation Areas under Part II of the said Act; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of September 1978.

SCHEDULE

ALL those areas of land situated within the City of Christchurch, first within the area bounded by the Brougham Street Expressway, Burlington Street and Hastings Street, being more particularly that land containing a total area of four hundred and thirty square metres (430 m²) or thereabouts (subject to survey), being part of Rural Section 235, and being the balance of the land described in certificate of title (Canterbury Registry), Volume 101, folio 218, and second within the area bounded by Waltham Road, Hastings Street, Cecil Street and the southern boundary of the Brougham Street Expressway, being more particularly that land containing a total area of six hundred and eleven square metres (611 m²) or thereabouts, being part of Lot 25 on Deposited Plan 1343, and being all the land described in certificates of title (Canterbury Registry) Volume 238, folio 40, Volume 235, folio 231.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand this 19th day of September 1978.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road and shall vest in the Waipa County Council as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 5th day of October 1978.
