New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement
PURSUANT to article 3 of the New Zealand - Australia Free Trade Agreement 1965, the products listed in the following Schedule have been nominated by New Zealand and Australia for addition to Schedule A.
Prior to formal inclusion in Schedule A, interested persons or firms are invited to make representations in support of or against any nominated product or products. The representations should be forwarded to the Secretary, Department of Trade and Industry, Private Bag, Wellington, not later than 29 November 1978 and the appropriate enquires will be conducted. In those cases where the enquires result in a decision to include the goods in Schedule A, and where the Australian Government is in agreement, such inclusion will be affected at the earliest practicable date.
Products on which no representations against inclusion in Schedule A have been received by 29 November 1978 will be added to the Schedule on 1 January 1979, provided the Australian Government agrees.
