The Road Classification (Waimarino County) Notice No. 2, 1978
PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waimarino County) Notice No. 2, 1978.

The Waimarino County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

The notices dated the 18th day of January 1951†, 15th day of May 1952‡, 8th day of March 1960§, 26th day of October 1960∥, 24th day of April 1961¶, 3rd day of May 1962**, 17th day of June 1970††, and the 11th day of August 1978‡‡, which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto, are all hereby revoked.

ROADS Classified in Class Two.
All roads under the control of the Waimarino County Council.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Canterbury Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Gordon Stewart Orr, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Canterbury Licensing Committee, on 24 July 1978, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Bower Tavern, Christchurch.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve or Christmas Eve)—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11.30 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve or Christmas Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
The said hours are to operate in the Hitching Post bar only.

The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 3204 Asbestos cement sheets.
This draft is a revision of NZS 282:1962 and contains sections on corrugated sheets for roofing and cladding, recommended methods for fixing corrugated sheet; and asbestos cement flat sheets.
For comment with—
DZ 1900.3/A7 Draft amendment No. 7 to NZS 1900 Model building bylaw—Chapter 3:1964 General requirements.
This draft amendment to Part 3 of the Model building bylaw is included with DZ 3204, as it will alter safety precautions for roofs to be covered with asbestos cement sheets.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 3 November 1978.
