Declaring Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Block VII, East Taieri Survey District, Mosgiel Borough

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, sufficient agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes, and shall vest in the Otago Catchment Board, from and after the 3rd day of August 1978.

Amending a Notice Declaring Land Held Together With Drainage Rights for Electricity Works (New Plymouth Steam Power Station) Purposes, Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in the City of New Plymouth

PURSUANT to section 330a of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the Notice dated the 27th day of February 1978, and published in New Zealand Gazette, No. 17, 16 March 1978, p. 537 declaring land set apart for state housing purposes in the City of New Plymouth, by omitting from the heading the words “Together with Drainage Rights” and also by omitting from the body of the declaration the words “together with the drainage rights created by transfer 85986, Taranaki Land Registry”.

Declaring an Easement Over Land Taken for Electricity Works in the City of Tauranga

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the electric cable easement described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for electricity works over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, and shall vest in the Tauranga Electric Power Board, from and after the 3rd day of August 1978.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Description of Easement

FIRST the full free right, liberty, licence, and authority for the Tauranga Electric Power Board (hereinafter called “the Board”) its servants, agents, workmen, and contractors and all times to transmit, distribute, or conduct electrical energy through and from the lines installed on or under the land described in the Second Schedule hereto to the respective electrical suppliers and occupiers for the time being of the lands adjacent to the said land and any part or parts thereof such electric works lines, conduits, cables, terminals, supply points, manholes, boxes or other electrical supply, or power appliances means or provisions whatsoever as may be necessary for the aforesaid purposes, and secondly, the full free uninterrupted and unrestricted right, liberty, and licence for the board to enter upon the said land with or without surveyors, engineers, inspectors, servants, agents, workmen, and contractors together with all necessary tools, materials, machinery, and equipment and all reasonable modes of transport requisite or reasonable for carrying out the works as aforesaid or for further purpose of inspection repair, replacement, substitution addition, or such other work as the Board or its responsible officers may see fit and with the right of ingress, egress, and regress to the public road adjoining the said land.
