PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to fencing provision No. 279316, for the purposes of the Fire Service Act 1975, and shall vest in the New Zealand Fire Service Commission, from and after the 3rd day of August 1978.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IX, Kerikeri Survey District, Bay of Islands County, for Addition to the Marsden Cross Scenic and Historic Reserve

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for an historic and scenic reserve; and notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post Office at Kerikeri and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
