- The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 4, 1976, dated the 4th day of October 1976†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Paparua County at Halswell, Hoon Hay, and Oaklands, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Paparua County at Halswell, Hoon Hay and Oaklands.
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point at the junction of the north-eastern side of Dunbars Road with the north-western side of the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa); thence south-westerly and south-easterly, generally, along the north-western and south-western side of the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa), across Dunbars Road, Lillian Street, and Nicholls Road to a point on the south-western side of the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa), 160 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road to a point, 100 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Sparks Road from the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa); thence south-easterly, generally, across Sparks Road at right angles to its north-western side to its south-eastern side; thence southerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the eastern side of Kennedys Bush Road at the intersection of the prolongation of the southern side of Glovers Road, thence westerly, generally, along that prolongation across Kennedys Bush Road and along the southern side of Glovers Road to the south-eastern side of the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa); thence north-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Glovers Road to a point 120 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) from Larsens Road; thence north-westerly, generally, across the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) at right angles to its south-eastern side to its north-western side; thence south-westerly, generally, along that roadside to a point 220 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) from Larsens Road; thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the south-eastern side of Sabys Road, 50 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Sabys Road from Quaifes Road; thence north-easterly, generally, along Halswell Junction Road from Kinrara Place; thence north-easterly, generally, across Halswell Junction Road at right angles to its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence north-westerly, generally, along that roadside across Nicholls Road and Oldham Crescent to a point 50 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Halswell Junction Road from Murphys Road; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to the north-western end of Nottingham Avenue; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the south-western side of Dunbars Road, 50 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along that roadside from Hindsc Street; thence north-easterly across Dunbars Road at right angles to its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence south-easterly, generally, along that side of Dunbars Road to the commencing point.
No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa): from the south-western boundary of Christchurch City to a point 50 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Templetons Road.
Henderson Road: from the No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa) to a point 240 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Hendersons Road from Rowley Avenue.
Sparks Road: from the south-western boundary of Christchurch City to a point 100 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Sparks Road from Victors Road.
Templetons Road.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Paparua County at Halswell, Hoon Hay and Oaklands:
No. 75 State Highway (Christchurch-Akaroa): from Dunbars Road to a point 160 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Sparks Road, and from a point 120 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State highway from Larsens Road to Candys Road.
Cashmere Road: from a point 380 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Hendersons Road to a point 240 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from Happy Home Road.
Halswell Junction Road: from a point 160 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from Kinrara Place to a point 50 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said road from Murphys Road.
Happy Home Road.
Hendersons Road: from a point 240 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along Hendersons Road from Rowley Avenue to Sparks Road.
Hyndhope Road.
Kennedys Bush Road: from Glovers Road to a point 1290 metres measured southerly and easterly, generally, along the said road from Quaifes Road.
Sabys Road: from Halswell Junction Road to a point 50 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Sabys Road from Quaifes Road.
Sparks Road: from a point 100 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Sparks Road from Victors Road to Hendersons Road.

The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 5, 1978
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 5, 1978.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

So much of the notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 22nd day of January 1974†, which relates to roads situated within Paparua County at Avonhead, is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated the 25th day of June 1975‡, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, which relates to roads situated within Paparua County, is hereby revoked.

All the roads, except that portion of the No. 1 State Highway (Awatui-Bluff) known as Blenheim Road, from the eastern boundary of Paparua County to a point 50 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State highway from Main South Road, and the Curletts Road-Hoon Hay Road, Link Road from Blenheim Road, to the south-eastern boundary of Paparua County, and Carmen Road from a point 160 metres measured northerly, generally, along Carmen Road from Buchanans Road to Masham Road, and Masham Road from Carmen Road to a point 350 metres measured southerly, generally, along Masham Road from the No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara), and Waterloo Road from a point 60 metres measured easterly generally, along Waterloo Road from Carmen Road to a point 50 metres measured westerly, generally, along Waterloo Road from Racecourse Road; within the area bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the northern side of Blenheim Road with the eastern boundary of Paparua County and proceeding northerly, north-westerly, and north-easterly, generally, along that boundary to a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along Russley Road from the No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara); thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line at right angles to the southern-eastern side of Russley Road to the north-western side of Russley Road; thence south-westerly, generally, along that side of Russley Road to the north-eastern side of the No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara); thence north-westerly, generally, along that roadside to a point 120 metres measured along
