NOTICE is hereby given that the Marlborough County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely the taking of a portion of the Lamberts Gully Road, within the County of Marlborough; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Marlborough County Council, situated at Henry Street, Blenheim, and is open for inspection of all persons during ordinary office hours. And that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation) set forth the same in writing or send such objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Secretary, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Wellington. And that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objections shall be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT

1,1288 hectares, being part Lots 2 and 7 on Deposited Plan No. 2347, part certificate of title, Volume 56, folio 295, marked “A” and “B” respectively on the plan deposited at the Marlborough County Council Offices, owned by Francis Albert John Martin of Blenheim, farmer.

The above property is situated at Kaituna on the Lamberts Gully Road.
