National Roads Board—Notice Partially Revoking Declaration of State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

REFERRING to State Highway 1, Invercargill City to Colyer Road section, as more particularly shown on sheets 1 to 2 of plan MOW 17038, and accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Invercargill, and there available for public inspection;

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 21 June 1978, and pursuant to subsection 5 of section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby revokes its resolution dated 11 May 1971*, made pursuant to the said section 4 insofar as it effects that part of the limited access road declaration commencing at the northern boundary of section 44, Campbelltown Hundred (CT 214/49), and extending southwards for 70 metres along the frontage of the said Section 44.

NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the reservation of Maori Freehold land, described in the Schedule hereto, set apart for the purpose of a recreation ground for the common use and benefit of the Maoris of the Ngati Ranginui tribe, constituted by an Order in Council dated 28 January 1953, and published in Gazette, No. 7, of 5 February 1953, p. 168, and varied by an Order in Council dated 14 August 1963, and published in Gazette, No. 49, of 22 August 1963, p. 1198, is hereby cancelled.
