Rewatu Road, such realignment being consequence of construction of stopbanks; and notice is hereby given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Whakatane, and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Agreement for Grant of Right of Way in Favour of Chefu Wang, of Wellington, Orchadist, and Bickleen Wang, of Wellington, Married Woman, Over Land Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington, Held for the Victoria University of Wellington, Assented to

WHEREAS by Declaration dated the 3rd day of April 1970 and published in Gazette, 16 April 1970, Volume I, at p. 678, all that piece of land containing 5.6 perches situated in the City of Wellington, Wellington R.D., being part of Section 28, Karori District, and being also Lot 2, D.P. 30686, being part certificates of title, Volume 453, folio 239, and Volume 453, folio 241, Wellington Land Registry, and registered as No. 824415, was taken for the Victoria University of Wellington;

And whereas Chefu Wang, of Wellington, orchardist, and Bickleen Wang, of Wellington, married woman, were entitled to compensation in respect of their interest in the said land;

And whereas the Minister of Works and Development agreed to grant to the said Chefu Wang and Bickleen Wang right of way over the land described above in partial satisfaction of the compensation aforesaid;

And whereas the said Chefu Wang and Bickleen Wang have agreed to accept such grant of right of way in partial satisfaction of the said compensation;

Now, therefore, the Minister of Works and Development hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 97 of the Public Works Act 1928, that he assents to the agreement hereinbefore referred to.
