A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Right Honourable Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and river control purposes and shall vest in the Waikato Valley Authority as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect, on and after the 6th day of July 1978.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2.3000 hectares, situated in Block VII, Rangiriri Survey District, being part Lot 1, D.P. 24803; as shown on plan S.O. 47625, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton, and thereon marked “A”.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand this 3rd day of July 1978.

State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park for Addition to Hanmer State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 63B (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976) I, Sir Keith Jacka Holyoake, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State forest park which shall hereby form part of the Hanmer State Forest Park.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT—CANTERBURY CONSERVANCY, AMURI COUNTY
FIRSTLY, all that area in the Canterbury Land District containing 9444.6999 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern side of Leslie Pass Road, being the south-western corner of Part Reserve 4162, Block VI, Lyndon Survey District, and proceeding northerly along the afore-mentioned roadside to a point in line with the, generally, northern boundary of part Reserve 4515, Crown land; thence westerly, generally, to and along that boundary, by a right line across Fowlers Lane, to and along the southern boundary of part Reserve 3657, State Forest, New Zealand Gazette, 1924, p. 802, to the south-western corner of that Reserve; thence northerly along the western boundary of part Reserve 3657 aforesaid to the southern side of Jollies Pass Road; thence westerly along that roadside to a point in line with the western boundary of part Reserve 3782, State forest; thence northerly, generally, to and along that boundary, the western boundary of Rural Section 40805, and the, generally, western boundary of parts Reserve 3927, State forest, New Zealand Gazette, 1924, p. 802, and New Zealand Gazette, 1949, p. 2297, to the southern boundary of part Reserve 4880, State forest, New Zealand Gazette, 1951, p. 1857; thence north-westerly, generally, along the, generally, southern boundary of Reserve 5165, State forest, New Zealand Gazette, 1963, p. 1862, the, generally, southern boundary of part Reserve 4880 afore-mentioned, and the, generally, south-western boundary of Rural Section 40015, to Trig DT, Mount Captain, on the summit of the Hanmer Range; thence easterly, gene-
