Lieutenant Crispin Fletcher George is transferred to the Reserve of Naval Officers until 19 October 1981, with effect from 20 October 1977.

Lieutenant G. Clough is transferred to the Instructor List of Officers in the rank of Instructor Lieutenant with present seniority of 1 January 1973 and effect from 1 January 1978.

With reference to the notice published in the Gazette 24 November 1977, No. 120, p. 3088, relating to the promotion of Lieutenant A. L. Beaman to the temp. rank of Lieutenant Commander, for “from 14 October 1977” substitute “from 7 October 1977”.

Lieutenant (W.) Sally Kay Wootton is transferred to the Reserve of Naval Officers until 23 October 1981 with effect from 24 October 1977.

ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVAL VOLUNTEER RESERVE

Surgeon Commander Thomas Shailer Weston, O.B.E., V.R.D., M.B., CH.B.(NZ), F.R.A.C.R., F.F.R.(LOND), is placed on the Retired List of the RNZNVR, at his own request, with effect from 31 December 1977.

Commander Mark Stefford William Ballantyne, V.R.D., A.F.N.Z.I.M., is placed on the Retired List of the RNZNVR with effect from 31 December 1977.

Lieutenant Commander G. D. Hill to be Commander with seniority and effect from 10 November 1977.

Lieutenant B. P. Moore to be acting Lieutenant Commander with effect from 31 December 1977.

Kevin Christian Manie is appointed to the RNZNVR List 1 in the rank of Lieutenant, with seniority from 10 October 1972 and effect from 1 October 1977; terminating on 23 July 1986.

Michael John Hurd (Anglican) to be Chaplain with seniority and effect from 21 November 1977 and is appointed to the RNZNVR List 1.
